Getting started
- How do I create an event?
- Sign up, create your organization, then click 'New event' on the dashboard. Give it a name and date, and you're in the builder.
- How long does setup take?
- Most couples are done in 20–30 minutes. Add tables, import your guest list, drag people into seats.
Guests & seating
- Can I import my guest list?
- Yes, CSV or Excel (.xlsx). We accept First name, Last name, and optionally Table, Seat, Color columns. If you just have a Name column, we split on whitespace.
- How do I seat couples together?
- On the Guests tab, pick a Partner for each guest from the dropdown. They're linked both ways and show a heart badge. Guests see their partner's seat automatically.
- Can I change the seat count per table?
- Yes. Select a table on the canvas and adjust Seats in the right sidebar. A table turns red when it's over capacity.
Guest app & sharing
- How do guests access their seat?
- Copy the share link (or print the QR code) from the Share tab. Guests open it on any phone. No login, no app download.
- Can I keep the guest app private?
- Yes. On the Share tab, set a 4–10 digit PIN. The URL still won't work without it.
- What if my guest list leaks?
- Regenerate the share URL from the danger zone. The old link 404s immediately.
Payments
- When does payment happen?
- Only when you're ready to publish the share link. Build and edit for free beforehand.
- I need a refund.
- Reach out via support@weddinghubapp.com. Full refunds relock the event automatically.
